Work/play
Here's a free write. There was something I wandted to write about beyond just the regular jibber-jabber, but i forgot what it was. It was amusing and timely.
There was a question from my wonderful friend Angela yesterday. Well, more like a request to write about my new job. the ceiling is brown and th walls are pale yellow, I work in the Pit, which is the biggest cube in the place. My coworkers are really cool. Keith is the Lord of the Pit. He's the fourth employees at Shopatron. His wisdom and expertise in customer relations and the Shopatron system are fantastic. I use Linux on an Asus motherboard with a Pentium four. Its surprisingly zippy, although mostly what i use it for is web apps. it makes me want to make a Linux box at home. It'd be nice to avoid M$ and do my part to bring down the evil empire. It's really busy here. Stoopid busy some days. I like how I'm constantly challenged to move forward in my knowledge and experience. I like working with folks, even though its only over the phone. Sometimes I get a challenging call. I love the people I work with. I'm on the company softball team and we play games on Friday nights. I love the skylights above my head. They infuse the warehouse with a natural, soft glow. We just got an air conditioning duct installed, so the temperature in here is nice.
