The Future
This grad school application process is pretty stressful. It's like applying to college, times ten. I'm halfway done though, which is very good.
All in all, I'm applying to four Ph.D. programs (University of Virginia, University of Chicago, Northwestern, and Boston University) and two M.A. programs (George Mason University and George Washington University) for American History. As you can probably tell, I'd prefer to be on the East Coast, especially near Washington D.C. I guess that part of doing American political history. I hope I get into one or two. That would be really nice.
Planning for the future is hard. Hopefully it'll pay off in the end.
On another note, I'm very excited to go home soon. I should be back by the end of the week (or possibly earlier). It'll be nice to get away from Kalamazoo for a while.
It's almost Chanukah too! Yay for holidays!
