here i go again

Well I reached 10 innocent hats-thank goodness cos it was quite dull and the last few were not that exciting! I also made a devil fingerpuppet for my friend along the same lines as the hats. oh and i need to knit one for my sister (just remembered).
i recently borrowed the Mason-Dixon book of knitting off Gemma and I love it. I particularly love the log-cabin knitting but am going to have to do some research into that. think my next project after the baby blanket will be dishcloths. it sounds dull but there are some really pretty patterns and i have been informed by a reliable source that they are very good exfoliators.
My baby blanket is well over half done but im unfortunately out of wool. so am going to dye some more at gemmas soon. (Yea Gemma oh wooly guru!)
I`ve recently volunteered at a local theatre in wardrobe which is fantastic-how good will that look on my cv?? unfortunately my mum managed to give her the impression my sewing skills-well, exist, so will need to dissuade that impression! im nervous but looking forward 2 it.
i just read stardust (no seriously less then an hour ago) and i adored it. i cant wait to see the film though i can already tell from the advert that it has been changed. but im hopeful. am about to read the first of cornelia funkes trilogy and then i think Ian McEwans Atonement because I want to see the film of that. I dont like seeing a film before reading the book.
got the recent threads magazine-ive never bought it before though ive heard it referred to. Its more expensive here because they have to ship it over. but its a great issue with a lot of info on vintage patterns. is threads normally so interesting? i think i`ll start buying it frequently.
anyways this is a long post for me so i`ll leave it there.

sewing, stardust, knitting
