stitch n bitch and little red riding hood

Heya have added a few more people to my friends list *waves* nice to meet you all. tried out my local stitch n bitch group last night where i was taught to purl. i am such a dunce though! took me forever to learn and had to be shown casting on again. sometimes i wish i drank coffee so i had the caffeine. we were in a starbucks so you`re kinda stuck if you dont like coffee! anyways, it was fun and ive been knitting like mad all day. have also ordered a cd rom that someone in my group has made-check it out if you`re interested-www.knitknack.co.uk
on a less creative note finally got round to doing some work towards my dissertation after getting 3 books out of the library and hiding them under piles of clothing in my room. think i will discuss the dark history of my home town, fortunately it kind of fits in with my original plans. wish me luck!
am going to try and re-inspire myself costumewise. want to make at least one costume before i go back to uni. was originally planning for my 21st to have a costumed night out to "fairy tales and legends" theme but i know that only my best friend will dress up apart from me so my little red riding hood may be moved to halloween. but do want to make it cos a) there is an adorable red cape and b)i get to carry a basket (dont ask why but i really want to!) obviously not many little red riding hood films but i reckon if i watch a film that inspires me costumewise i can move from there to sewing. we`ll see
