Something I did at my sister's wedding earlier in the month

Around New Year's Eve, I headed down to Victoria for Sarah's wedding.  When there were here, Sarah (my sister), was to give me a reading to do, instead of doing a bible reading, which happens at many wedings.  So when I got there, I was given this short passage to read, which she found on the internet.

A Tapestry Of Love

Just as two very differnt threads woven in opposite directions can form a beautiful tapestry, so can your lives merge together to form a beautiful marriage.

To make your marriage work will take love.
Love should be the core of your marriage;
love is the reason you are here.
But it will also take trust - to know in your hearts
you want the best for each other.
It will take dedication - to stay open to one another;
to learn and to grow together even when this is not so easy to do.

It will take faith - to always be willing to go forward to tomorrow, never really knowing what tomorrow will bring.

And it will take commitment - to hold true to a journey you both now will share together.

I remember when I did, it  didn't stuff any of it, but only practiced a few times.  The whole day was wonderful, and my sister and my new brother in law are on honeymoon in Mexico.  It was hard not to cry, while reading it.  Even now, brings many happy thoughts back to a time when I was at Daylesford, where the wedding was at.
