I feel like I've been in kind of a rut lately, which is the destiny all you soon-to-be college graduates will eventually fall into.

I'm getting really fucking sick of waking up at 5:20 every morning. That's not to say that I was ever not sick of it, because it has always been my least favorite thing about my life. It's been almost a year ( ( Read more... )

wow, i could have written this entry myself. minus the skin rash, of course.

what can i say? post college life is worse than anyone expected. no jobs, no hope, just lots of competition for sub-par employment.

only maybe this summer i'll be there to have brunch with you and we can bitch about it together. i say maybe because the job situation is looking so bleak that i may have to stay working for the passover king over here after all.

This does not bode well for life after BU.

look just cause you can't drink every night of the week, stay up to watch anytyhing past primetime, have more than two days off in row, sleep until noon every day, go out whever you want, travel whenever you want and do what you love, that's no reason to complain. now just shut up while i enjoy my four day weekend.

Yep.

Trust me, everyone is going through this right now. As soon as someone figures out how to make it better, they better damn well tell everyone else how.

I hope you find what you are looking for (a better job...a stronger chemical component for Benadryl)...so that you can enjoy the city and start feeling better.

There is a lot of complaining on this comments page...and here's some more:

Everyone's job sucks. I don't know anyone who graduated with me who is happy with what they are doing. But no one expects 22 year olds to be anywhere else than in the bottom of the job/salary chain, so we should be ok...for now. There is nowhere to go but up, right?

(this is the mantra that lets me sleep at night. That, and Tylenol PM. God, I hate my job!)
