The Break-In
Oh...I didn't mention it on LJ, I guess....
My house was broken into Tuesday afternoon, and $1000 worth of video games was taken.
They wrecked my room looking for cash, but just ended up taking a duffel bag and shoving my Xbox 360, my Wii, and like 10 games.
I don't think I'll be getting anything back, as it just seems like kids did it.
Tons of other valuables were left alone, and the games, complete with power cords and tv cables were taken, so I'm assuming the kids who took the stuff are playing it.
I've been casing my neighborhood, and got a lot of street rats in trouble, so I guess my little victory is that I haven't seen the kids walking about for the rest of the week....but haven't found the actual kids who might have taken anything...
All in all, I got off pretty lucky. All replaceable stuff, but it still sucks knowing kids were in the house.
