Graduation

Three days away from graduation!! It's been a long time coming. I finished my last two classes on Monday with a bang. After six long years, countless classes, presentations, speeches, Exams, and etc. I now will have a degree. The flying will still continue at WMU for the next 6-8 months but that is cool. My folks and grandparents are coming up Friday for my wings ceremony at the airport. After, we get to watch the Blue Angels practice which will rock. On Saturday, my parents, the Hoveys, and Bren are coming to the regular Graduation ceremony and than we are headed up north for the holiday. Anywho, I went home this last weekend for some grad parties. My cousin Ben and Sierra graduated from high school. Friday night, I went to Ann Arbor with some friends to a bar and got quite lost before hand. On Saturday, I went to the parties and than at dusk I went over to Wayne Clark's house and got to fly with him. He owns a kit plane and a grass field. It was so awesome. We took off, buzzed some houses and other fields. I got to fly over my house, all though no one was home. He gave me the controls and we immediately side slipped due to the fact that flying a tail dragger is so different. But I go the rudders down and he told me I flew her a lot better than some of his buddies that fly in the airlines. I guess one F-16 pilot denied to fly it because I couldn't get control of it. It was one hell of an experience. He has given me a lot of tips on how to make a good pilot out of myself. I hope to fly with him again soon!! After that, I headed over to Brent and Katie's for some good old fashion friend fun. Had a couple of drinks, tried to be cool and climb a tree, and fell out of it. Hurt my elbow slightly but it sure was funny as hell!! Anyway, flight is going good. Almost to my check ride for the Instrument. My Instructor Melissa is a great person, great pilot, and quite hot. I love that southern accent. Clark Out...Love Ya'll
