Hale Mi
Oh yes....the first day of classes has begun. Only had one today and flight but the one seems like it's going to be a good one. I have my two non aviation ones tomorrow which I am not looking forward too, Stats and Intro to Art!! Maybe they will be better than I think. But anyway this Labor Day weekend was a blast. Bren arrived in Kzoo around 11 p.m. Friday and we hit the road for the cabin. Smooth sailing all the way, all except when I got close to the cabin and got us a little turned around. But we made good time anyway and got there around 3 and hit the bed around 4. I woke up early to the sounds of the early riser's. No one values sleep anymore!! It was awesome to my fam. Saturday we chilled around for a bit and than hit up East Tawas to see the shops and the coast line. Bren, Ryan, Lindsay, Parker, and I went deer watching after that at about dusk and saw a ton of deer. My nephew was all hyper and drove us all insane!!! Love that little guy. Sunday we got up and hit up the Ausable River for conoeing and relaxation. It was alot of fun, even when Bren threw me in the freezing water and I lost my shoe. Came back for naps and than me and Bren drove just down the raod to Hale's Airfield "Field of Dreams". One small grass runway but she was beautiful. Played some games at night and did a little walking through the trails at night. On Monday we all parted ways and me and Bren drove to meet up with her Papa and Grandma to eat lunch. It was alot of fun and they we awesome. Hit the raod again and finally made it through the crazy traffic to get back to the Zoo. Bren spent the night and took back off to Chicago for classes. It was a great weekend. On a more serious note though my cousin Jordan was involved in a work related accident a few days ago and was seriuosly hurt. He is still recovering and things are getting better but pray for the little man, he is still banged up. Clark Out....Love Ya'll
