Tim's Wedding
What a frigin sweet weekend!! Wednesday I headed home after flying to get ready for Timmy's wedding. My brother, Lindsay, Heather, Doug, the boys, and I went to the Detroit fireworks which rocked. Nothing like the third largest fireworks show, over the river, and with the fam. On thursday I woke up and went to the dentist and went back home to get the house cleaned up for the bachelor party. Somehow I screwed up the paintball times and we were not able to go but all worked out in the end. Tim, Sarah, Craig, and I went to Toledo to pick up the Tux's and for a bite to eat. We than went back to the DeLands for some pre drinking and than hit up my house. Tim's cousins, college buddies, and best friends showed up for the grilling, beers, basketball, and some frisbee. The night ended with Tim, Brent, Evan, Jason, and I heading out to Amy's house with a burnt cock shaped carpet with "moosecock" spelled out. Inside joke!! Frigin sweet. We than traveld down Monroe St and stole a smiley face flag from the car dealership.....oh, the good ole days of getting into mischief!! On friday we went to the church for the rehearsal dinner. We went through the service once and me and Rachael were very lost. We than headed back to the DeLands for some pizza, brews, and fun. Rachael and I made a pre game speech which was getting us ready for the big speech the next day. Saturday came around and the big day had arrived. I met up with Tim, Brent, Chris, Jason, and Evan for some breakfast and to get ready. Gotta say, we looked good!! We drove to the church, and for some reason I was nervous as hell. Best Man nerves I guess!!Timmy and I stayed back in a little room while the rest of the gang seated people. Timmy gave me the rings to hold onto and I put them into my pocket and was so afraid I was going to drop them. Tim and I had some good laughs before it started. The rest of the groom's men came in and met us back in the room and it was game time. We got into a single file line into our positions. We walked down the aisle and all met up with the lovely brides maids. I finally got to walk Rach down the ailse;)....We all took our positions and Sarah made her entry. She looked very beautiful. Her eyes were glowing as were Timmy's. Tim, Sarah, Rachael, and I stood up, nelt down, about 100 times. It was a very long service but one awesome one at that. and I didnt drop the rings!! At one point Rachael had to yell at me because I was neeling when I was supposed to be standing, way to go Clark!! Finally, Father announced the marraige and good ole Timmy jumped the gun, and gave Sarah a big kiss. It was awesome. After the ceromony, we took a bunch of pictures, and I was smiling so much, my damn face started to go numb. We all headed out to the strech Hummer wich rocked, well all except the air didnt quite work. We drove for about an hour doing some drinking, and making some memories. We drove to Grafton hall and the dj annouced us one by one. The hall looked beautiful and there were so many people there. Finally the big moment arrived. The dj came over and handed me the mic. I was so scared and I was slightly buzzed. At the first the mic didnt work but he ended up giving me another one. I made my speech, I forgot some of it, but I knew it went alright when I got the standard AWWWWW from the crowd. Rachael did hers it was was beautiful. We all ate out dinner and than got up for some minkling. I headed over to the parents and friends. About an hour later, the bridal party dance came too. I got to dance with the lovely maid of honor. Rach and I just joked about everything while dancing, because we have known one another forever and this was our first dance together. The hall was offering Bud which ofcourse is the best drink ever so Mehki, Natalie, Ashely and I had a little competition going. In the end we pretty much tied. Dancing at receptions with friends is awesome. As for myself I suck, but it was so much fun. I slowed danced with Alice DeLand which was awesome cause she basically has been a second mom to me. I also got to dance with Amanda, Ashley, Mel, and Tiff. All of which rocked except when Amanda stabbed my eye out with her finger and I lost my contact!! Way to go;).......The night went on with some damn good times. At the end of the night, the Michigan Tech guys sang you lost the love in feeling to Tim and Sarah which was hilarious. Those guys rock. The ladies sang one song too( but I have forgotten what is was due to me being quite drunk) The wedding was so much fun but had to come to an end. Timmy and Sarah hit the road towards the end and the rest of our gang drove to Pete's Garage back in Monroe for some after wedding celebration. Got to tell ya I was quite cocked!!! A group of about 15 of us hit the bar till two drinking it up and making some more memories. Evan and Jason are so awesome. We stared to "Dude Love Club"!!!! Dont ask!! At the end of the night we drove back to Timmy's to drop our Tux's off and call it a night. Finally....Tim and Sarah are married. What a night. A slept off my buzz and Timmy called me in the afternoon to go over to Sarahs for the opening of the gifts. They got some lovely stuff. Finally I had to tell Mr. and Mrs. DeLand a farewell cause I had to drive up back to Kzoo. Gave out some hugs and kisses and wished them off. I am so happy for them. Congrats Tim and Sarah. But now I am back to school getting ready for my stage check and written test. Pray for me!! I am so scared. Than I am off on a cruise for a week!!!! yeah!!!!! Clark Out.....Love Ya'll
