Night Flights
As the weather gets warmer, the flight time gets bigger. Tonight I did my first night flight and it was so cool. Andy and I took off one hour after sunset and flew the pattern about a dozen times. It is so cool flying night. The cabin is dark except for the instrument lights, the runways are lit up like a Christmas tree, and the city is bright and brilliant. As we were flying a storm blew in from the west carrying 20+ Knot winds and light rain so we were bouncing all over the place. My first night flight in a storm, rock n roll!! And last week I did my second solo cross country to Greenville and it was nearly perfect. Just bounced the gear in Greenville once but other than that, all good!! Probably another month and I can take anybody flying in VFR conditions, so whoever wants to go, Let's roll!!;) This last weekend was so nice. I went home on Friday and grabbed a couple beers with my Brother and spent the evening with Kimmie!! Than on Saturday My brother and I went up to my sisters to help them move to Dundee because they bought a beautiful house there. The rest of the night was spent with my sexy gal and the fam. Sunday I did my presentation in Church for the Nawlins trip and I think I sucked but everyone else say I did good. I love that church. It was so good to see old faces. That church that I grew up in really had awesome people and an awesome rock of faith. I am so glad I didnt give up on that church!! Gotta get to bed, early classes and maybe I flight to Fort Wayne Indiana tomorrow;) Clark Out Love Ya'll
