Cross Country 1
So I finally completed my first cross country on Sunday. Andy and I flew up to Greenville which is about 60 miles north of Kalamazoo, so a 120 mile flight all together. It was alot of fun but is going to be alot of work because we entered into Grand Rapids airspace in the middle and the radio communication with ATC there seems like its going to be tough to follow along with finding the right VOR to track and intercept the course. But I cant wait for my second cross country which should be Thursday but due to Michigans stupid weather, Probably not. Anyway Kimmie and Tara suprised me last week with a visit up here to see me. Them along with my roomates were playing spy games so I wouldnt know that they were coming. Rob came up at 10 to tell me that "two girls were broke down outside and I should give them a push" so I wne tout there and it was Kimmie and Tara. Frickin sweet!! It just sucked that I had to work on my navigation log which takes about 4 hours to prepare so I had to do homework while they were here:(......Thanks for the awesome suprise Girls!! But anyway I need to start getting ready for summer one and get some classes in order. I know I want to take Flight Theory Three, but I also know I still have to get Calc and Stats done!! But soon, sometime near in the future I will be flying bush in the Alaskan wilderness, or fighting wild fires of Colorado, or hopefully flying missions in Africa!! God, I Love this!! Clark Out!!
