When we honestly ask ourselves which person in our lives mean the most to us, we often find that it is those who, instead of giving advice, solutions, or cures, have chosen rather to share our pain and touch our wounds with a warm and tender hand. The friend who can be silent with us in a moment of despair or confusion, who can stay with us in an hour of grief and bereavement, who can tolerate not knowing, not curing, not healing and face with us the reality of our powerlessness, that is a friend who cares.

Have we all got our BFFs handy? (BTF, in my case...) ;) It really is great to have someone who'll just...be there, especially when things really look tough. It's the kind of person I wanna be. I'm terrible at giving advice anyway, so I figure the next best thing I can do for someone I care about is, well...lend over my very person. You know?
In "real update" news, Final Fantasy XIII is fucking awesome. Haters gonna hate, but I'm finding the whole experience to be an absolute joy.
My job is as life-sapping as ever. I have to pay the electric bill in six days, but I only JUST got it. How about more than a few days' notice, Ottawa Hydro? If I hadn't just gotten paid, I'd prolly be in trouble. =\
