Tonight, working my buns off at Target, the clouds billowed with anger, a murky sky filled with misty air and a chill warmth that contradicted the impending.
Raindrops fell, and swirled in the air uncharacteristicly. What is going on, said I, the Phoenix-Native.
Alas, tis Snow.
Snow, falling from the sky - frozen molecules of water all adhered together, to make a light, flaky crust for your car.
A light, white, flaky crust for the earth.
The land, once dirty, murky, brown, becomes pure as heaven blankets us in its embrace of cold beauty. Ah, the dramaticsm of extremes. No one creates stream of consciousness anecdotes for Spring. Only scorching, or freezing.
It really is strange, for me, used to the earth being colored brown and rust and sickly green in hues of cactus, dirt and rock. To see the world covered in white, to see the black asphault a - Winterland or as the Germans say Vinterlundt
Valking in a Vinter Vunderlundt
Im so lying. I dont speak German.
Its funny to think my other half is in NY experiencing snow too.
Haha Phoenix-folk how I envy your mild winters
and how you must envy me, as Ive just added another color to my pallate.
Love to all.
