My Happy Anniversary
My husband and I celebrated our 29th wedding anniversary on May 2nd.
From the very start of our "special day" right after midnight, we were working at the Milwaukee Public Television's Great TV Auction. It was their last night of the nine-night auction, and they didn't conclude until shortly after 1:30 in the morning. They raised a total of over $1,029,000. Fantastic! And we felt great being a small part of that.
After the auction's end we went home to sleep for a few hours, relaxed some, then went for an anniversary dinner at Outback Steakhouse. The food was delicious and it was nice to get out for a special meal.
Unfortunately, we both had to head off to work that night. Life goes on.
