Ok, so I went with a Chameleon. I kinda wanted something that didnt nee to be held alot, since I work alot. Here is a pic
&
I've done research on them and a 10 gallon tank w/screen top is alright for right now. As soon as I get more money, I will get a bigger enclosure(within a month or so)I have my drip system going, and mist him and the cage down to provide water and humidity. I have the UVA and UVB light(cost a ton, but its worth it)
One thing is, I got the small crickets for him. It seems that he has a hard time trying to catch them. Is this because he is so small, or still a baby? Is this normal? He's caught a few, but alot get away due to him being way to slow or missing with his tounge. This is prob a stupid question, just dont want anything to happen to him. I was thinking tearing off a cricket leg to make it easier, but I didnt know if making food easy for him to get now would have any effects on his "hunting skills" later?
