Voice-recognition, it's so fun.

So recently, I just got a voice-recognition software thingy.  Its rather cool it's called Dragon's NaturallySpeaking 7.  It doesn't always get the words right, but otherwise it's not that bad.

My plan is to actually build a voice recognition system for my guitar.  I figure what I can do is use the same technology that goes into VR-type programs, like NaturallySpeaking or ViaVoice.  The idea would be to create a user profile for each guitar -- as they all have different sounds -- and then to have computer recognize each sound as is played.  Possible problems would be things like:

Speed of play
Notes that are very close in frequency
Bent and Occidental Notes
Chords, Triads, other things containing more than one Note
Discordal combinations (like the Eb-A-D terminal Blues chord)

looking at it looks at it there may be more problems that I originally thought.  All things considered I think these problems could be overcome.  By the way this entire message (Mostly,  anyways) has been written using Dragon's NaturallySpeaking 7 software.  Which I pretty much stole, Which I did steal from a P2P program, cause I'm Uber. :)

~~Joe, the Uber one.
