thanksgiving 2006
Today is thanksgiving, in TRUE McKeever fashion my mother woke up my sister AND myself (on different floors of the house) SCREAMING about how cute the rockette costumes are. cute cute cute! says my mom. Then I came upstairs looking grumpy...we watched the rest of the parade together then we got food, ate a lot of it (yum) and then cleaned up
Mom made me go through my old closet and sort through more things. I found some of my 101 lists of why I love (insert name here) I found the ones from Derek and Rita and I found the one I made for Derek. Man, I found a lot of momentos and such from when we were together, a lot happend back then. sooo long ago...another life, I wonder what short amount of time is going to pass before this becomes "another life". Probably...not long.
They showed the "Macy's parade queen" from 80 years ago, she is 101 years old. I don't think I'll live that long. I can't really make a full life time judgement until my parents die and we see which diseases I develop and things...wow, this is happy thanksgiving day thought.
Dispite the holiday thing...today wasn't so bad. Luckily it was just the 4 of us so we sat around in our pajamas and burped and laughed instead of trying to be other people...I like it this way much better
hmmm...plans for tomorrow? work at curves, go to wendys get both weeks of paychecks, go to bank, go to do freight at the mall...avoid shopping, don't look either way because I WILL get suckered into working on the floor. I'm going to wear junky sweats and bring my Ipod player thingy and ROCK OUT in the back room.
Ain't no one going to ruin MY black friday this year!
