Wow
So I'm finally alone. For the first time since Wednesday. It actually feels good. But soon it'll get lonely so I'm glad I'll get to see Bria (and maybe Vickie) today.
Wednesday-Saturday was Creation. Man! I have missed that place. It was different not going with a youth group. Spent a lot of time with people from school, which was sweeeeeeet. There were a ton of Easterners there. For the first time ever I got to do all the For Youth Workers Only things, which rocked. The best part was the Youth Workers Only tent. The first time we (Me, Beth, Kristen, Justin and Andy) went in there it was crazy. There were fingerblasters being shot everywhere, balls and frisbees thrown around the whole tent and one guy, who we called Robin Williams, had a water gun. It was pure wreckless fun just attacking each other for hours. Met some other cool youth workers doing that. Saw some good bands including Switchfoot, Roper, Audio A (or should I say A. Adrenaline?), Newsboys, Toby Mac, David Crowder, The Mint and John Reuben. I need to go purchase some new CDs. Did a lot of dancing like an idiot, which was sooooooo much fun. Saw Abby and Kristen Bulgrien on Saturday night. We actually went back to Kristen's house and spent the night there.
Sunday was Eric day, lol. Beth and I left Kristen's kinda early and showed up at Wayne Pres to surprise Eric. We went to church then out to lunch at Bravo. That's where we told Eric we were staying at his house that night. Then we went back to his apartment, met his roommate Jon and then the four of us went to the mall. We all helped Eric shop for new clothes "Yea, like your sexuality", went to Best Buy then came back. Watched Team American, wasn't too bad. "Matt Damon!" Beth and I decided we wanted to make the guys dinner so we went out to the store for food. Came back, had a ton of fun cooking in their kitchen "Our place is in the kitchen, not your bedroom...oh...wait.." We made chicken fajitas, chicken quesadillas, tacos and spanish rice. For dessert we made chocolate chip cookies. :) Makes us so happy to cook for guys. After we did dishes, Beth and I headed back to Eastern for some time. Got to hang out with D.J. and see all his awesome comicbooks and talk with him, Amanda and Wyatt for a bit. Then DBo and I went on a walk, it was pretty sweet. Beth and I got back to Eric's at 2:30-3ish and slept on the couches.
Monday we got up around 8, watched The Pacifier then 10 Things I Hate About You (I quoted almost the whole thing, I think they wanted to kill me, lol), took a shower then headed out. We came here to my house for about an hour, met up with Vickie then headed down on the Metro to DC to meet Kristin, Nathanael, Ross (his friend) and Anthony (his cousin). Later Nick came down and the 8 of us, plus Beth's brother and his people, watched fireworks. I've never seen the fireworks show they do behind the Washington Monument, it was pretty cool, I guess. Beth, Vickie, Nick and I threw around for awhile before we all headed back to the Metro and went out seperate ways.
Beth left this morning before I was really awake. It's weird that she's gone, having spent almost every moment with her for 6 days. Now that this update is finally written, I shall go shower, for Bria and Vickie will be here sometime. Definitely a great week. :)
