It has been a very crazy, stressful few weeks but all in all pretty fulfilling. First of all this time of the year (Passover) is one of the two most stressful for me. Not because of what I do or don't do but primarily due to family associations and memories. Heck, at least I don't get the nightmares I used to get anymore :). Aside from some sleep issues and some new weird issues/changes in hopes dreams and plans for the future that I had to come to terms with (or maybe even ultimately because of the latter) it was one of the better Passover seasons I've had in a long time - so that was wonderful. I got to see both brothers, sisters in law, and nephews which was priceless as well as some other relatives I don't get to see enough of.
And now I get the true joy of returning to my beloved routine and the reminder how much I do love the life I have managed to carve (whittle?) out for myself at this point in time, even with it's built in ups and downs.
Look forward long term to the warming temps - especially since I'm now in electric blanket zone since the building has once again disabled the heat and turned on the air conditioning - but I'm ready for them and have two electric blankets I use each night one for the chair I read in and the other to warm my bed :). Shorter term today I get to go stretch and crunch in about half an hour and then grocery shop later. Shopping can be a hassle but I do it every week (more really - but that's factoring in all the places I go - Whole Foods today, Trader Joe's tomorrow and other stores as needed for dry goods or sales). I just love having my refrigerator and cabinets full of yummy produce and other things!! *And yes just to get it over with I do shop at Whole Foods - I hate and detest their politics but I love their produce, bulk, and organic selections so I made the choice to be selfish and to choose me and my needs and wants.*
Hope you are having a great one :).
