Let's hear it for fall.
This is possibly my favorite time of year. Colder nights. More bugs. Friends back from school. Wait this is the last time I get to experience that. Oh I'm trying not to think about that stuff. Enjoying the smell of fall in the air again. Winter's on it's way. Only about 3 weeks until I move. I'm excited to leave. Steph and I are starting to pack up already that feels good. I can't wait to be back where there's good food. I can't wait to see my parents more. Especially with my Dad being sick and them getting older by the minute. It's been really hard lately to keep everything together. Like I have a limited amount of things my brain can do, and concentrating on not thinking about leaving my good friends behind is taking up like half of it. I'm just tired of staring at a revolving door, it's time for me to walk outside too. Spend time with all the people already outside. It's like not I'm never gonna see my close friends again or anything, but this is harder than I want it to be. I want alone time with everyone. To say goodbye, in my own way. I need to be a sappy fool at some point. I just don't know when. This weekend is gonna be good. Steph's party on Friday. I can't wait to sing Happy Birthday to her. I can't wait to drink and laugh with my friends. I need this after the last party. I expect this to be quieter, and I can't wait to spend all night with people. Hear that? You guys know who you are, you don't get to leave at 1 or 2 or 3. Here's to dawn. I'm not sad or anything, I just know I will be. I have an addiction that everyone knows about. Friends. When I was like 5 my sister had a friend over and remember when she left I sat there in my room with my Mom asking me why I was crying. I just know all that is coming, it's not here yet, there's still plenty of fun to be had. Horror movie night. Joke D&D game. Kiddo's Exalted game. Steph's birthday. Beating X-Men again with George and Prego. Watching Pete & Pete with Em. A late night drive with her. Teaching Kiddo how to drive. Playing video games all night with Dave and Todd. Drinking with Steve. Stealing a road sign with anyone who's interested. Stealing an owl with anyone who's interested. Start checking your schedules people, I'm making time for all of these things, now you have to. Fall is here and it's time for colder nights, hooded sweatshirts, mayhem, and it's time for me to go.
