It's cold outside. I love it, but I wish I could wear more than just a shirt when I work. I mean it's nice until the sun goes down and then it just gets freezing. I don't mind it too much. I just don't feel like getting sick. Now is definitely not a good time to get sick.
I don't care much for the uniform (although it is true that the ladies like a man in uniform), but other than wearing a horrid amount of brown, I like working for UPS. I work with cool people. People are always happy (or even excited) when they see that a package is coming for them. Little kids love to get the packages. They always run to me, say thanks, and then run back in to see what's inside (or just open it because they know what it is). And even old grumpy people smile when they see the big brown truck. People always wave to us telling to have a nice day. I think being a UPS driver is really rewarding and some take it for granted. I just hate that I would have to wait three to five years before I could be one. They make some good money too! And best of all is that they get crazy awesome benefits! The only drawback is the longish hours.
I love to see people smile. You never know what a smile can do when someone is feeling down or something. I guess that's why I didn't like construction because everyone's always mean and stupid and sad or angry. I liked mowing lawns because people were happy when they saw their lawn all nice and cut. People didn't like to pay so much for their pools, but they were happy when helped them out with their problems in their pools. People love to eat, so Mickey D's wasn't to bad. It was just nasty.
Where will I work next? Who knows?
