Often, I succumb to the practice where my primary time is allotted to the consumption of content instead of its creation. Perhaps I may yet stave off my “lurkerist” tendencies!
The past four months have consisted of several events:
My birthday
Stacy’s birthday
Getting a Job
Losing my god damned keys every ten minutes.
Currently, I work with autistic men and women at “Mainstream Academy.” (punct?) I enjoy it for now, even though I’ve decided it’s not a “forever” kind of thing for me.
In my free time, I’ve been reading and doing absolutely nothing.
Which is more enjoyed - the latter or the former? Typically, I would say the latter since typically, I like to do |nothing| in my free time.
I know, I know, but WHAT if someone wrote something worth reading that inspired a little cognitive dissonance, a little self-change, and proved to be some REALLY interesting shit. What if THE WORDS THE PENMAN PENNED were like the syllables of a poem without the reason, without the rhyme (we’re talking some IAMBIC PENTAMETER CAPTAIN KIRK SHIT HERE!)?
The latter was the correct choice.
As the latter would imply, this summer hasn’t seen me doing much else but working for Mainstream, working to sell stuff on eBay, WORKING FOR THE MAN, and last but certainly not least, seeing my wondrous ladyfriend. For a while, the thought of a summer class proved less-than-enticing-though-probably-a-good-idea - but then I would have no time for nothing.
Which one of the following three choices pay?
COMMUNISM CAPITALISM CRIME
This would be a test question if I ever became a teacher of Sociology - bonus, of course.
As I can, I’ve been staying away from misanthropy, saying my prayers before I sleep, and drinking too much caffeine. Only one of the former statements was correct.
On the day of the 18th of May, I received a present - a sunflower. I named him Samson.
I cut his head off today with a knife. It feels strange to cut the head off of something you carefully cared for, but I believe I could get used to it. = )
When I plant his seeds, they will not be each given separate names as they will be known instead as the “Samsonites”.
With that final flowery bit, I will leave you. How have you been?
Much love to the Stacy!
Love,
Jeremiah
