Quick update
I'm sitting in the computer lab eating not-so-spicy potato wedges for lunch. I just uploaded some pictures from my gig at the Forum Bar last Wednesday. They can be viewed here. Here's how it went down. I originally planned to play three songs but there were several people still on the list and it was getting late. So I played a new original called "The Water Way," which I wrote on my trip to London. I also played "Bad Moon Rising" by CCR. For that one though, I gave away a prize to the first person who could "name that tune" with me playing only the first two chords. This kid up front nailed it and won the prize. What was the prize? A CD player I got for free with my mobile phone. He seemed really surprised and happy.
I still have three essays to write before I leave for good on Dec. 18. One is for The Book of Kells and its World and the other two are for Archaeology. I'm not too worried about them though. Finals will be interesting though. Next weekend is my last weekend in Ireland and I'm thinking of taking a trip west to Galway. We'll see what develops.
