I am obscurely pleased because it looks like my desk magnets are being photographed by the stationery paparazzi after leaving the desk party.

So I have some work to do tonight, and some stuff to write as well.

At the moment though I'm sitting at my desk listening to Led Zep and rearranging my desk magnets into pleasing patterns.

And before that I refilled all of my pens:

  • The spare, broken Lamy Vista that I glued back together the other day.
  • The Lamy Logo that I bought when I seriously couldn't afford it, accidentally dented and comfortably well-used. I love it. Other people are extravagant about clothes, I am extravagant with pens.
  • The Lamy Safari that I retired because a Famous Person used it. No, seriously. I retired it after that because I dunno, it seemed frivolous to go on using it and lose it or something.
  • A plain black Lamy Safari which is my current pen.
  • Can you tell I'm a Lamy fan? I can't afford a more expensive fountain pen, not that I'm sure I'd buy one if I could. Lamy nibs are far superior to their Parker counterparts imo.

And after I'm done with my work I'm gonna go finish re-reading the Call of Cthulhu.

I am supremely boring but I am uploading this because I simply do not care, I have pens and a book to read and I am happy.
