As much as I hate to be a part of any statistic, I will indeed be joining the layed-off list at the end of this week. I'm not going to dwell on it much right now, I gotta keep myself occupied finishing my B.A. music degree. Then I'll start job hunting. Maybe I'll check out the music therapy program CSU just got. Or even better, Harmonix (the Rock Band people) put up a hiring website a while back... though most likely already filled al position. *shrug*
Books: These might be hard to find elsewhere, but if anyone can find a copy of "Dragons of the Cuyahoga" or "The Dwarves of Whiskey Island" it's worth your time. Of course, I'm a little partial to a fantasy book based in my home town. Portal to another world opens up in downtown Cleveland (during a Browns/Steelers game, HA!) and magic saturates the surrounding area.
It's just too cool reading about a dragon's keep in an abandoned building and knowing that exact street corner. Not to mention the backstory of certain neighborhoods, such as East Cleveland when "white flight broke the sound barrier." Sad, very sad, but true, very true.
Dreams: a 2nd dream in recent months about getting stuck during a bombing. Cluster bombs are a bitch to dodge.
