I don't know what was more difficult: getting through the blizzard, or getting past the 48 hours of continuous TV news coverage of said storm. Stupid overreacting media! Of course, getting used to crazy media is easy when this is the home of Carl Monday. If you don't know that name, consider yourself lucky, and no I'm not going to explain.
But yes, we all made it out alive, except for 3 old guys who had heart attacks while shoveling. Standard fare. So now Chass gets to look forward to the Ohio River getting really huge once the melt hits. 50F (11C) today, so it'll be sooner than later.
Finally, I get to be in the St. Patric's Day Parade this year! The CSU PepBand has finally gathered the necessary people and possibly a flatbed truck (though most of us would be happy to march) to play! Best of all I don't even have to ask for the day off of work being a Monday, ah I love how every blue moon things just turn out right.
