Housewarming (and new lyrics
It's official, our house is warmed and I am a Nanna. The housewarming was a spectacular event, not only in terms of society (we fit like 30 people into our tiny house) but also in terms of quantum mechanics (we fit like 30 people into our tiny house!). Many wonderful freinds were made, I met a lot of housemate people, saw a few people I already knew and another Doctor Who fan. we overbought the food so our house is still populated with a few bags of chips and lots of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. Jen snapped a buttload of pictures on an oldschool SLR which, in a true indie household style, are going to place under the glass of our coffee table. I will, in a form of amazing meta, take a photo of the table and upload it.
On to me being an elderly grandmother, i totally fell asleep at like 8:30 o_O? its like "What the hell jimmy? Have you aged like 60 years?" the other alternative is to go to sleep at a reasonable time and stay the hell asleep, but why would i want to do that?
So, i've been working on a new one for the last couple of days. I've been listening to The Wombats and as a result of this I kind of want the intro, and probably more of the song, to be in a three part harmony. Words!:
