Great night, but the venue was a bit sucky because the sound was crap and the beer made my friend John sick on the way home. I even saw the barmaid sniff it as she was pouring it.

Saturday night me, John, Callum and Barry from Runnun' Feart all went up to a ska night at Nice n Sleazys. My friend Jane from the Amphetameanies had emailed me to say she was playing a gig, but as it happened the band didn't play because of 2 of the members being in America. We did watch "Joe Viterbo" and "Bombskare". Bombskare were excellent and everyone was all happy. God, I love the atmosphere at ska punk do's. I texted Marina and she came along with a guy she had just met who was a complete blast from the past for me. Michael the scooter boy/skinhead and I recognised him from places like Glasgow Tech, Strathclyde S.U. and the Q.M. from about 17 years ago! We're all going to keep in touch and go up to the Angelic Upstarts gig next month together.
Robbie left to go to ireland back to his dad's last week. Within an hour of Claire & Robbie leaving, Dylan and i decided not to wallow in grief but had the living room emptied of all it's furniture and I proceeded to lift the carpet and strip the floorboards! I also painted the celing, the walls and then hand sanded the floor and stained it. That took all of one and a half days but it kept me busy. It looks brilliant! Sometimes I amaze myself.
