This was published in today's issue. Somebody screwed up and it got printed twice on two different pages, which isn't the kind of mistake I'm too upset about. Twice as likely to be read, yeah?

I recall Piranha Press being a good 'Indy' publisher of comics in the early 90's.

They were a bit ahead of their times. Aiming comics at the bookstore was an excellent idea, but they should have waited till after manga did the hard work opening up the market for them. If DC revived them today I think they'd do quite well.

I recall Patrick saying that this was one of the most accurate depictions of human interaction and relationships ever put on paper, or maybe it was romantic relations? That kind of put me off at the time, but having read Cowboy Bob, I'd be keen to see something more with character and story (Cowboy Bob was so much of satire and obseravtion).

It does an excellent job of grounding the oddball elements with stuff that has the ring of truth.
