double double toil and trouble...
it's another boring day here in new york... i thought coming home would be interesting, but as it turns out, i find myself ten trillion times more bored here then there. well, that does make sense now, don't it?
yesterday i spent a great deal of time doing loads of nothing, but hungout with erin during the evening. we had a rather intresting time, hangingout at Forestview and eating too much food, listening to a rather intense conversation of a young man coming out of the closet to his grandfather. i wouldn't really choose Forestview as the place to do such a thing, but whatever. i don't think it went too well, unfortunately... the boy sounded rather upset...
afterwards we came back to my house to shoot the breeze. jon came in and went through my laptop so i could burn him some CD's and he was amazingly social and interested. we had loads of fun, with him telling us all his stories down in Nashville and all that good stuff. it's so great to hangout with Jon - he's sometimes so distant and so "grown-up" that i can't talk to him anymore, but last night was one of those nights that i really appreciated having an older brother like him. andy also came home and we had a bit of a chat, which is nice. all of a sudden i'm really appreciating my brothers... stupid older brother jon with his crazy-ass truck and stupid little brother andy, who's a complete psychopath, but a good kid at heart.
seems as though i'm going out to dinner with samantha tonight, 'round 7... which means i'm just gonna bum around for a bit longer and then have some social contact... yessssssssssss. eh, that means i gotta take a shower and all that, but pish. it's all good.
