interesting past few days...
went to a Bison's game friday night with erin and her parents, which was a very fun time. i felt a bit awkward because i like to talk for ages and they are really quiet, but it seemed to all work out okay. all i gots to say is "go coffee!" and Phillips, #7 is the sweetest damn player ever. and young, who's number 45.
what would your theme music be if you were an athlete? the Bisons all had music playing when they came out onto the field to bat... i was thinking something like "dime que me quieres" for some reason, or else "we won't get fooled again." something classic... gotta love it when the big white guy's got some hardcore rap song as his theme music... rock it.
today was andy's grad party, which was an adventure in and of itself. loads of people were over at the house - i don't even know how many. the Resataris family came up from Colorado which was quite the experience. i haven't seen them in like 9 years and it was hot seeing them all over again. they're all pretty damn cool, actually... jules, melody, heidi, laura, and john. yeah, it was a good time. got to avoid some of the normal family awkwardness by hangingout with different folk i hadn't seen in ages. so rock it on. oh, and btw, beer is great. my parents, what happened to be so strict? jejejeje, oh nicholas, what HAPPENED TO YOU?! jejeje, what happened to me, too... oh, alcohol, one of the most interesting legal drugs that are in the US nowadays...
ah, almost forgot. this morning we went to 11:15 mass to celebrate Monsignor Kevin's last mass. really sad. there were lots of priests there and we were telling stories and listening to Monsignor and it's quite sad. this is the man who's baptised all of us, First Communion, Confirmation... Monsignor Kevin has seen us all through everything, so it's quite sad that he's leaving. good, good guy. he's one of those priests who are just such wonderful people and you hate it when people stereotype Catholic priests as petaphiles because one or two went astray. Monsignor Kevin is awesome. i almost cried at the mass today, 'cause he was really, really leaving. we did get to see Father George again (this crazy polish priest who used to be at our church). all i can say is : "G-G-G-G UNIT!"
