Media Consumption: The First Third

This year I had decided to keep track of the movies that I watch and the TV that I consume and the books that read and etc, etc. The list is growing so I am taking this opportunity at the one-third mark to list what the spring has wrought thus far. don't forget Spacecamp! I love that movie, not that I've seen it in 20 years. Leaf/Joaquin Phoenix was such a cutie.

True, I loved it. But it isn't a very good movie when you strip away our childhood love for it. I put Explorers in this category as well. Maybe Explorers need to be on the Netflix queue!

leaf/joaquin phoenix is also in Parenthood, which is in my top ten movies category, I think (if I had to have one).

i have always been curious as to the tv series adaptation, as well. i was hoping that with the boon of 80/90s nostalgia and the release of everything on DVD that their might be something but it was so short-lived that no one remembers it or is clamoring to have it in their collection.

there are only a handful of movies that i would or could watch more than once or twice but that is definitely one of them.

i just heard about the CURRENT tv adaptation! I had assumed when I replied to your comment that you were talking about the extremely short-lived just-after-the-movie adaptation. Holy Amalgams, now I have something new to watch out for!
