It's been a week since classes ended, I'm I'm barely motivated enough to get out of bed, let alone go to my parent's place. I will do it in the next few days, probably. It takes 3 and a half hours, and several different forms of transportation depending on which route I pick (I like to mix it up) to get there, and ugh, I can barely be bothered. I really don't do much of anything here, but I can do things like stay up until 4am while drinking too much beer and humming bad 70s music without anyone commenting on it, and I'm somewhat reluctant to give that up. Peterborough is boring, but there's always a chance that a party will break out, or the neighbours will start screaming at each other, or a cat will come round wanting attention. None of that happens in Brampton. Nothing really happens in Brampton. It's okay there, I have my mom, and my bathtub, and food, but hardly any of my friends still live there, and I don't really want much to do with the ones that do anymore. Ugh, I suppose I should go soon though, putting it off will just make me lazier.
I feel like I've done nothing this year but regress to my teenaged self. Just when I'd finally developed things like social skills and motivation, it all disappeared and I once again find myself shut up in my room giggling over Harry Potter gifs. I do hope that this is just one of those weird phases in my life that I'll laugh about someday when I'm off doing something exciting.
This week I've decided I want to move to Grosse-Île when I'm older...who knows what the plan will be next week. I wish I was one of those people who think that their hometown is the best place on earth and have never thought about how much better other places probably are. Ugh, I'm even writing about the same crap I was when I was 16.
I finished my take-home exam today, so now I actually am done for the semester. I vaguely committed to hanging out with Maks tomorrow, but she is not nocturnal like me, so I'll see if it actually happens. I don't think I've seen the sun for at least a week.
Blergh, anyway, I think I'll go play on Google streetview for a bit.
