I think it has not to do with the people who watch it but with the copyright of the song or something. I know that in Germany certain Labels haven't allowed Youtube to show their music, but in the US they have. So you can make your video only for those who are in the US and Youtube can't delete your video, which they will if you post it for Germany.

And, fyi, you can change the settings to you pc/laptop and get access to everything :)

I guess that way you at least get it. If Youtube would delete it or y'know take the sound away it'd be gone.

Don't know the other sites. Youtube is the only one I check if I search for something.
