Goodbye Willowbrook
Hello Muzhgan,
I'm writing with regard to the call you made to Jessica this past Sunday about the date for use to leave Willowbrook Apartments. I had stated in a note included in the past rent check a planned leave date of Monday, July 31; however, Jessica informed me that you would like us to leave by June July 25-26.
Leaving before July 31 would be most difficult and inconvenient to us for a number of reasons:
More importantly, during the late winter we had discussed with you our plans for this summer with regard to Jessica's job search. You said on more than one occasion that you would work with us so that if we needed to stay for a partial lease term or even work on a month-by-month basis, that we would be able to do so. That scenario has come to pass and we are hopeful that what you said is indeed true and that you are willing to work with us on a suitable end to our residency here as we prepare to move this summer.

Leaving before July 31 would be most difficult and inconvenient to us for a number of reasons:
- We have many friends in town that are able to help us pack and load a moving van, but most of them would be unable to help on a week night as opposed to a week end day.
- It would be much more difficult to find a new place to rent in Wisconsin with a move-in date a full week before the start of a new month.
- Jessica does not defend her dissertation until Aug 18 and will benefit from having as much face time and 1-on-1 time with her advisor and committee during the last few weeks before her defense. As it stands already, we'll have to come back to Champaign just three weeks after moving.
- If I am unable to find employment before moving I would need to work as long as I can in Champaign to minimize the amount of time between when I leave my job and when Jessica receives her first paycheck from her new university.
