I just went to a wonderful talk by Deborah Klein at the Athenaeum Library.
She creates beautiful images of of women (or more specifically, their hair) and moths and masks that are moths and hair ornaments that are spiders. And all that is beautiful.
Recently, she has begun to write little fairy tales, some of which she publishes as zines. Which are available at Hand Held Gallery. Which I really should explore.
She has an exhibition coming up at Chrysalis Gallery, 7 - 30 October 2010. I'm not sure that I will get to it, unless I make a concerted effort.
