Stein says that as mayor, Palin continued to inject religious beliefs into her policy at times. "She asked the library how she could go about banning books," he says, because some voters thought they had inappropriate language in them. "The librarian was aghast." That woman, Mary Ellen Baker, couldn't be reached for comment, but news reports from the time show that Palin had threatened to fire Baker for not giving "full support" to the mayor.
The reason this bothers me greatly (besides the OBVIOUS) is because most people I work with think she "takes on the big dogs... is wholesome... a fighter". I can't believe people people eat this stuff like they're being spoon fed.
She doesn't have the experience needed and she doesn't believe in global warming. She "supports more drilling in protected areas of the Outer Continental Shelf and the Alaska Natural Wildlife Refuge, once attacking McCain for his 'close-mindedness on ANWR.'"
