Disclaimer: I'm a little hopped up on the DC (diet coke) and I never stay up past 10 pm, so you can expect this post to be a lil crazy. I just have some very important thoughts to expose to the nations. Also, some or all of this post may be influenced by Source Code, as I have just returned from viewing the lovely flick.
EDIT: I deleted all the juicy stuff but I've left the important and non-offensive take-home message. :@)
So here's what I have to say- a word of advice to those of you participating in or seeking to participate in a relationship- PLEASE, bring your A game! The only acceptable reason for not bringing your A game is if you don't actually care about the person you're with. At the same time, learn how to tone down your crazy, exaggerative "love" and be HONEST for, like, 2 seconds. There are a lot of ways that you can show love and encourage someone while still being completely honest and not making promises you can't keep. How about, "These breakfast tacos are delicious. Thanks so much for making them!" or "Your eyes look beautiful." or "I love you so much." A little goes a long way, people.
Let your actions shout on the mountaintops so much more loudly than your words.
