Me and the net
Don't tell the Chinese, but I think I am addicted. Every day I check LJ and Facebook, play games and fantasize about writing something. (Pause for coughing fit-still not that well after the weekend) Of course here I can write a paragraph or two and be done with it. It is affecting my ability to write at any length. Of course I don't really need to do that much any more, unless I do go ahead and write the Aussie version of Dalek I loved you--great book, but so English, loved bits, laughed at bits and was excluded by some of the boarding school stuff. Sir Robert Menzies may have thought he was British, but he wasn't, he was Australian and the brits knew it. Anyway Dalek I loved you is something I would recommend. The world needs more stories about Daleks-fantastic Doctor Who monster. Something else I am obsessed with. Trying to put together another Psychodaleks zine, but it just won't gel into a whole. Right now I am in the "It is a good idea" phase. Must try and collate some stuff, maybe make a scale replica to try out a few things. Damn, I would love to do it with the computer, but I find I need a paper copy to fully visualize it. Or I could just go and try and improve my zombie on Facebook. It's a drug, with advertising and I don't even know who can look at my page. anyway to log these things?
