Stuff
Next weekend will be the Bird Festival weekend. I'll be going both saturday and sunday, saturday I'll follow a nature photography workshop, stroll around all the stands of book sellers, travel agencies (spelling?) and outdoor equipment stores and walk around the area, as the festival will be held in the beautiful nature reserve Oostvaardersplassen. On sunday, I'll take the earliest train possible (7 'o clock or something) to be on the festival terrain as early as possible to help the Association for Swiftprotection man their stand.
Other stuff... I'm about to go cycling/walking with Lisette to the forest near Beek. We'll be passing by our house as well, even though we won't be able to enter or anything...
I'm collecting seeds to plant in our garden. Have been doing so for a while now. I'm not completely sure about the kind of soil we have in our garden, so I might not be able to sow everything I've collected. But we'll see. We might be getting some different soil types anyway, to increase the diversity in plant and animal life. In any case, we'll need a bunch of river sand which is very low in nutrition for the pond. Even though I'm not completely sure where/when we'll be able to get that going.
In any case, we're going to have to get our house in a better condition before starting work on the garden. But it won't hurt to plant some seeds already, to have something to look at in the mean time... :)
