Jet Fighter crash in San Diego

It was just in the news last night... the pilot is in the hospital and the people in the house died... he was supposed to be landing on an aircraft carrier and one of his engines failed... instead of crashing on the carrier, they told him to fly back to base and land there to get the plane repaired... the other engine failed 2 miles short of the base and he crashed into that house...

The pilot is the son of a neighbor of a guy I work with... :(
