So had support group last night...79 people were at the meeting. Not enough chairs so we had to get more from two other rooms. So happy the progam is doing so well.
After the meeting i was stacking and moving the chairs and I guess you could say almost gave my Doc a heart attack when I picked up a stack of three chairs and put them on the cart. His first response was Misty, Your stronger than me. Then i heard him mutter and she complains her hernia hurts her. Wonder Why.
Later, before we left we chatted about surgery next week. He has an online seminar he's doing that afternoon so I told him to make sure he gets lunch. He told me he's not leaving me until I am done and he knows I'm out of surgery, awake and in recovery. How did I get such an awesome Doc?
On a side note, one of the ladies at VIVA is driving me absolutely batty. She always has something unkind to say and i finally lost it on Thursday. I am counting down the days to the surgery and getting a good, long break from her and her attitude. So far she has complained about us calling Sean "the boy", my having my first bariatric surgery, having the skin removed now, my religion, my church, my work at Block..need I go on? UGH. This woman is so bitter she's still pissed at her husband and she's been remarried for 10 years or some crap.
Plus, she's on everyone's nerves at VIVA and no one does anything about it. If anyone says anything she responds with "this is who i am, get over it. I say it like it is."
Oh well, six to eight weeks without hearing that mouth will be the best part of the surgery i think.
