WOW - does life ever stay the same?
My sister is going tonight for her first step in WLS. She's attending the same informational meeting I attended four years ago next month. Should be very interesting to be on the support side of this rather than the patient side.
Had my CT scan yesterday and my surgery is four weeks from tomorrow. I still can't wrap my head around how this is going to look...or feel. Have to admit, I am more nervous about this surgery than any other i have had.
I'm also now looking to move again and not with Lorraine's neighbor as she just learned he's back to smoking...and I do not want to live in smoke again. Did that my whole childhood and I don't want that again. So today, i am going to check out a place...the lady owns a horse farm and is looking for someone to rent one of her spare rooms. Sounds gorgeous and maybe, i can learn to ride too! We'll see. I'd like to move by the end of the month so I am in my new place by surgery. I've decided money wise to just try and find a room to rent/house to share so I can finally get a savings. Things are just too expensive on my own and I'm tired of money being tight.
Finished my first two classes both with an A. I have two this summer, four in the fall, and then the last two and an internship in the spring. Next spring should be fun, what with block, and internship and two classes, but it'll be worth it if I can get a job.
