Moving moving moving...

So, for being out of work, life is certainly busy. First, I'm in the process of moving. It may sound extremely odd...I get that, but I think it'll work out nicely. The chick in the upstairs apartment is still fighting her eviction we're going with me moving into the locker room in the back part of viva. It's not what it sounds like honesty. It's a big carpeted room and while yes, it has lockers, there aren't a lot. It also has a bathroom attached...with two sinks and two showers.

I started painting the room last week. I have one more coat to do and the painting is done. Will do that tomorrow. Then I can start the slow process of moving things. I figure if I take a load of stuffed every time I go to workout, it will be a lot easier than doing it all the week before the holiday. So tomorrow is finish painting and shampoo the rug day. I also need to try and pull out at least the one bench.

I'm also getting rid of a LOT of stuff. All my books that I never look at anymore are going to the library. If it doesn't fit me or I don't like it, it goes to good will. My fan stuff is being kept..let's not go crazy!

My goal is to be moved by Christmas, so I can enjoy the holidays and not be moving too much that week, just a load or two with the truck for my actual furniture...which is just the love seat, recliner and hutch really. I'm throwing out my bed as it is beat, and my sister is giving me the twin she has. Will eventually get a new mattress for it.

In the midst of all this, I am also in the middle of Block's Christmas loan program ... Although so far I only have to work the phones on Mondays. But going full time in January will be a big help money wise!

Then on the 6th I register for classes to get my paralegal certification. I've decided to go this route and see if I really like the law as much as I think I do before spending 80k or more for law school.

This winter will be interesting, what with working full time for block, and taking classes and lorraine promised to give me the workout to do on my own since I probably won't hit viva as much as i'd like.

All in all 2011 looks mighty interesting.

Oh and on a side note, block is doing federal 1040ez for free. So anyone that files a 1040ez straight(no eic) will get a free return. State, of course, is extra. Still a good thing for kids and people like me :)
