brendajulietta: (8:47:42 PM)I didn't want to put the phone on speaker but I finally did so maybe he could calm her down. I was happy when he finally did. I knew I was going to get screamed at once she showed up but for now, I could just relax some and be with Joe. He told me that he was glad he woke up to me and I smiled and laughed a little bit with him before he asked me for another kiss. "Yes but you have to put your mask back on afterwards. No exceptions." He frowned at me but eventually agreed. I leaned into him and kissed him, this time flicking my tongue against his lips for a little something extra before I pulled back. "Mask back on, baby," I said and I watched as he slipped it on with a little sigh.
He settled back against me and I gave him another little kiss on the temple as the doctor walked in. I laced my hand with Joe as he went over what was wrong. Yes Joe had a concussion and he had bruised ribs along with cuts and contusions and the gash in his head. He said Joe needed to stay over night to be observed but he could probably go home tomorrow. He did however want a MRI to make sure he didn't have any other head injuries. I nodded and told the doctor thank you for his help before he went to get a tech. "So that's some good news. And you get to go home tomorrow," I said with a little smile as the tech came in. I gathered up my purse and walked beside Joe as we went to get the test done.
When we got to the room, the tech told me I had to leave and I frowned as Joe started telling me to stay. "I'd really rather be here with him," I said as Joe told me to stay again. "Can I at least be in the tech room? I don't want to leave him. The tech finally agreed to me staying there and I turned back to Joe to give him a little kiss. I gave him a little smile when he told me to stay again. "I can't be in here with you but I'm right in there," I said as I pointed to the window. The tech said he couldn't have any metal on and I lifted his hand up to show him his ring. "I'll keep this on until you get done, okay baby?" He nodded and I slipped his ring off and put it on my thumb since it was the only finger it kinda fit on. I gave him another kiss and told him things were okay and then stepped back to watch the techs move him onto the bed. I waved to him before I went and stood behind the window while they did the test.
