Birthday weekend!
The birthday weekend is over, but it was a lot of fun. Thursday my office threw me a mini-party w/cake in the morning, then Friday I went out w/Beth to Hoboken, Saturday I saw Parade at Montclair State (with music and lyrics by "Robert Brown" according to the program!!!!), then hung out w/Brad and Berta till all hours of the night. Sunday was brunch w/my mom, and tonight I went out to a nice dinner w/the grandparents. The gifts were checks from all grandparents and one set of aunt and uncle, my mom got me the Jewish star necklace from Tiffany's and my dad reminded me how good a time we had in London.
Of course in and among this I tried to patch things up with someone who I had recently had issues, and I decided to be the bigger person and asked her to meet me to talk, and she responded saying she had no interest. I've decided I'm so over it, especially because the reason we had the issues was because she didn't tell me how she felt to begin with so I didn't know I did anything to upset her and her hatred apparantly grew from there. Whatever, I'm done.
