I went to see My Super Ex Girlfriend, which was a very strange film. I think I enjoyed it, but it just wasn't that great. Also maybe because we made the mistake of going to the Trocadero to see it as we were in the area. You'd think it would be easy to see a film in central London, but half the cinemas don't show them, other than the expensive ones in Leicester Square. Anyway, it cost me £8.90 because we didn't get served by the nice man who served us last time we were there (yeah, we've been more than once), and who gave us student price with our ID cards, and who wasn't bothered that we didn't have NUS cards. Last time we went there we vowed never to go again, and now we definitely won't be. Its just not a nice place, and seems to attract a lot of tourists. Why, if you're on a trip to London, would you want to spend your time in a tacky amusement arcade type place. Tomorrow we're going to the wonderful Genesis, a proper local cinema, that only costs £4, and shows the right films. And its walkable distance from my house!
I also went to
Fruitstock, which was kinda fun. It was very hot and very busy, but we saw some bands, lazed in the sun, ate yummy food, did some flower arranging (!!!), watched the speed dating people, watched people doing yoga. There was a lot to do at this festival.
