Random moments are fun. I went into college to pick up the new set of briefs (here we go again), and was planning to go to Tesco in Covent Garden, but somehow got distracted by Fopp. I was admiring the beautiful cds when I heard the familiar sounds of a band setting up, so I went to go see. Turns out it was The Feeling, who I had never heard anything by, but were pretty good. Don't think I will be buying their album or anything, but I always like to see band of course. They have a cute drummer. He's the one playing the tambourine at the back (haha).
Mystery Jets are playing next thursday, are they good? I think I've downloaded stuff but not listened, maybe I should. Also, The Rakes are playing Virgin on Monday. Gotta get tickets in the morning though. AND Graham Coxon the week after (also tickets for this one). And there was me complaining about not having any bands to go see.
I keep reflecting on my tutorial, and it depresses me. Josh pretty much said my portfolio was rubbish, but he also said he was expecting so much more be cause my ideas are so good. I can't help it. I'm having issues turning my ideas into real stuff right now. Sometimes I wish Geoff was my personal tutor, he's funny, and always had good input, even if he rambles. In the crit on Wednesday he was making fun of my manicness (my vinyl collecting, and keeping it all perfect), but he wants me to prove my manicness with this last project.
