Yesterday...
well... I never want to go through a day like that ever again! got a phone call from kirks school at 20 past 9 to ask if he had got home yet? when I said he hadn't and that I wasn't expecting him home as he had left the house at 8 to catch the school bus they informed me that the bus had broken down on the way and that before the driver could get it going again kirk got off and said he was going home!
an hour later they rang again and said he hadn't turned up at school yet - was he at home? I said no and started looking for him around the estate - no joy.
at 12 the police were informed and the hunt began.
kirk walked in the house safe and sound at 2 saying he thought I would have gone to town after the other 2 had gone to school ( I never leave the house before 11!) so he had been at another friends - who had got off the bus at the same time - waiting for me to get back.
he wasn't very pleased to hear the police had been called and was even less pleased to hear his punishment for skipping school and scaring me to death - grounded to room with no x-box for 1 week plus no Internet or pocket money for 1 month
in other news Dave is doing his fusion welding coding for Lloyd's insurance today - if he passes his wages will go up to just over £10 an hour!!! yay!!!
